Nepal and Poon Hill Trek

Meet and greet at the airport. Transfer to Hotel. PM: sightseeing of Kathmandu Durbar Square and
Swayambhunath Stupa.

After breakfast drive to Chitwan. Upon arrival in Chitwan check in to the hotel. Lunch. After lunch Jeep
Safari. Evening Tharu Stick Dance. Dinner and overnight at the Hotel. ( BLD )

Early morning jungle walk. Back to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast Canoe ride and Elephant breeding
centre visit. Lunch at hotel. After lunch village walk.

After breakfast drive to Pokhara. Upon arrival in Pokhara check in to the hotel. PM: boat ride on Fewa Lake.

Drive to Nayapul (1 ½ hour) and commence trek to Birethanti, a large and prosperous riverside village beside the Modi River & Broomdi Khola. (Stream) We head up the main trail and follow upstream of Broomdi Khola (stream) to Sudame where we climb gradually up the side of the valley, reaching Hile (1495m) before pushing on to Tikhedhunga final destination of the day. Lunch on the way.

Breakfast is at Local lodge. After breakfast, prepare for the long uphill and start with steeply ascends on the long stone staircases to Ulleri village with the amazing landscape and marvelous view of Annapurna South and Hiuchuli. You spend a pleasant days trekking through rhododendron and oak forests. The scenery gives you inner power to climb up these steps and immerse you to walk more. After few hours
of walking with several breaks in between reaching at Ghorepani, you can enjoy the fantastic views of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Himalayan range.

Dinner and Overnight is at Local Lodge.

Breakfast is at Local lodge. This morning, you will get up early in the morning, and go for hiking to Poon Hill. From here you will see superb view of sunrise, and panoramic view of Himalayas, including Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Fishtail, and so on. After visiting Poonhill, we will come back to Ghorepani, have a hot breakfast. Continue walking to Tadapani.

Breakfast is at local lodge.Today, you go downhill, walk around a mountain and downwards to a place called Ghandruk Village. It is Small Gurung village.

After breakfast sightseeing tour of Pashupatinath Temple and Baudhanath Stupa.

PASHUPATINATH
One of the most sacred Hindu temples of Nepal – Pashupatinath Temple is located on both banks of Bagmati River on the eastern outskirts of Kathmandu. The main temple of Pashupatinath is a building with a bunk roof and a golden spire. It is located on the Western bank of Bagmati and is considered a masterpiece of Hindu architecture. Pashupatinath is the most important temple dedicated to god Shiva. Every year this temple attracts hundreds of elderly followers of Hinduism. They arrive here to find shelter for the last several weeks of their lives, to meet death, be cremated on the banks of the river and travel their last journey with the waters of the sacred river Bagmati, which later meets the holy river Ganges

Boudhanath Stupa
Boudha stupa is semicircle shaped and contains the relics and remains of Buddha. The stupa’s massive mandala makes it one of the largest spherical stupas in the world. Boudha Stupa was listed in world heritage list by UNESCO in 1979 and it is one of the most popular tourist sites in Kathmandu.
PM: Free for personal activities.
